surrey with sunshine

Post by martin »

I was interested by the description in the Independent about why one family didnt want to come on holiday to the Algarve

I wonder where the surrey stockbroker belt equivalent is in the Algarve??

Blue, maybe you want to change your profile (location). I always thought Guildford was in Surrey :D :D

Mind you, as much as I envy your relocation, I still prefer Surrey over Carvoeiro in July and August. The reverse is true in Jan, Feb, Mar, April, May, June, Sept, Oct, Nov and also in December :P

Very odd, I hadn't noticed it still said Guildford I believed I had changed my profile a little while ago. :?

No, wouldn't want to be in G'ford anytime of year now - full of 'chavs' & footballers wives. :D

Surrey is cool. I love it. I did most of my growing up and schooling there. It is a beautiful county. Leith Hill, the North Downs, Boxhill...I did all my running training around there...stunning views. I also did my A-levels at Guildford and thought it was ok too. I remember the deer, which I used to see in the woods and the bluebells...such a vivid blue... 8)

Perhaps better twin Lagoa with Addlestone so that Weybridge can twin with Carvoeiro?

Tee hee, Graham. All very subtle that :?

I was kind of thinking back to Guildford and twinning that with Silves. They are both historical cities and seem to be notorious for each being a domicile for Bruxinha.
