That's sad. When we were there in September it was far and away the best meal we had, including Maxime's, L'Orange, Bella Vita etc etc.

We've eaten here quite a lot just recently, it has been very quiet, we usually eat between 8 & 9, there are generally 2 or 3 other tables but they seem to eat/leave quite early. The staff are pleasant in our experience & the food is lovely. Currently one of my favourite restaurants, something a little bit different, last time we were there we both had the scallops to start - delicious, H had the lamb & mash & I had the monk fish in bernaise sauce - delicious, & their banana dessert is to die for :D . Which is largely why I'm having to go on a diet :(

Elle&Ella new menu

Post by Bruce Wallis »

As regular users we visited Elle and Ella the evening after it re-opened. We were disappointed. All the old beloved favourites such as the smoked duck starter and the Rack of Lamb were gone. I really do hope that they get it right as they bed down the menu...and bring back the smoked duck and rack of lamb!
