As the topic was "looking for love" then perhaps a little love is exactly what we have here.
We are loving playing with David (if he is who he says he is, and who am I to doubt him
) and I hope he is loving it back
A little harmless fun that lets face it is sometimes lacking in this section.
I understand we have chit chat to post our nonsense to, but as G pointed out (and I have only had the pleasure of meeting Gambrinus the once, so can hardly be counted as "knowing" him personally, however a very nice man he is
) if we now moved this to chit chat David would be unable to post to it as he is unwilling at this stage to reveal himself (pardon the innuendo
)
Perhaps when David feels more like he wants to become a member then we can move this topic. In the meantime, if you don't like it you don't have to read it nor do you have to add to it.

Looking for Love, maybe
I have followed this "soap opera" every day since the first post. It has been very amusing and flirtacious. How can anyone criticize this bit of fun?

Re: Looking for Love, maybe
There's always at least one miserable bugger out there who just can't bear to see others enjoying themselves.Canada wrote:I have followed this "soap opera" every day since the first post. It has been very amusing and flirtacious. How can anyone criticize this bit of fun?![]()

Ignore them.
I applaud Gambo's decision to allow a bit of chit-chat on General. 99% of the posts have been in the spirit of friendship and banter. If some of you lot don't want to read it . . . don't read it! How difficult is that?
Re: Looking for Love, maybe
Maybe cos they are bitter and twisted or so very serious about Carvoeiro.Canada wrote:I have followed this "soap opera" every day since the first post. It has been very amusing and flirtacious. How can anyone criticize this bit of fun?![]()

Carvoeiro is a soap opera isn't it? I was under the impression that Carvoeiro is the place you go to get the foreign gossip and Silves for the Portuguese version.
People confuse me a lot of the time (not hard I know).
Looking For Love, Maybe
There seem to be a LOT of horny women that were ready to "schmooze"
with David (the lonely Scot). So I will throw my single friend to the she-wolves. He will be visiting us in CVO from March 6th to 14th.

David is incognito, Nightrider thinks he is a woman, Sharen thinks he is hiding his light under a bushel, Mrs Cardigan would eat him for breakfast....confused? You will be!
time to watch a little more of this "soap", unwind and relax (((theme tune)))
*Sharen enters centre stage*
Yoohoo David where are you, come out and play with me, I'm bored and need some fun

I'm still here.......
Well.... maybe I can come out and play 'just for one more night'.
As long as each of you are gentle with me to begin with.
But, remember to pull my kilt down when you're finished with me - thank you.
All this attention is taking it's toll on me. I can't sleep, I can't eat, I can't concentrate, I can't........well I just can't. Maybe I can if I try really hard.
Larry is as much use as a chocolate teacup as a friend in need. And of course he arrived on Hogmanay to the superior city for the street party and pulled. I didn't - nothing new there then - I was too busy taking in the fireworks.
So I put a brave face on it and told them I had to leave early as I had to go to work early new years day! New years day for goodness sake who was going to believe that one! Well it was the best I could muster under pressure.
I know, I know I said I had great fun at new year in an earlier post. But I lied. Sorry.
Must close shop now and get my haggis chippie supper on way home.
