Black and White Night

What a great night. Something for everybody from toddlers to we old-timers !! Surprising was the number of people who took the trouble to wear black and white - far greater percentage than on a 'white night' on a recent cruise. The standard of entertainment was not only varied but high - the Algarve Jazz Band in particular stood out.

Also what a pleasure it was to be able to walk around freely with no traffic - surely something which could be introduced regularly for evenings throughout July and August ?

The organisers deserve congratulations for their efforts and let us hope for more similar events throughout the summer

Great to hear it was a success, really wish we could have been there but not over again till August. I had a look on the webcam and the place looked to be booming.

Great to see initiative being taken to get events like this going and that get up and go being payed off with the large crowds that attended this year and last year.

My son and his girlfriend attended the festival and had a great time. Busiest they have seen Carvoeiro.

What a great night - absolutely thousands of people - cars parked all along the rd towards Lagoa. We were at Tastes until 11.30 then went down - amazing sight and great bands - we left at ~ 2 and the people were still arriving. Cars were parked up rampas solferias to the 3 rd bend.

We are just back from a week in Carvoeiro.
Wonderful night! I agree - congratulations to the organisers. There was truly something for everyone.
I could have listened to the Algarve Jazz Orchestra all night!
