location for Wedding Reception In Carvoeiro area

Hello

I'm looking for a location to hold my wedding reception meal at in the Carvoeiro area . It will be in late July 2016 for approx 60-70 people . The wedding ceremony itself will take place else where.

I am thinking of possibly holding it outdoors in the garden of a villa or maybe a restaurant. The Hotels in the area are not interested because it's peak season. The Tivoli will consider a wedding but I'm not so keen on.

Does anyone have any ideas or recommendations please?

Another possibility would be A Tasquina at Monte Carvoeiro - they might have enough space.

What time will the reception be at? Outside in late July may be very hot at lunchtime so the venue will depend on the time. If an evening/dinner reception then outside will be OK. Let us know and then we can make some suggestions.

Our daughter got married and held her reception at the Tivoli in July 2012, the service and meals provided by the Tivoli could not be faulted.

We attended a wedding at the Tivoli in September last year and it was excellent.
The wedding photos are truly spectacular and the wedding breakfast was just perfect.

Our daughter was married 3 years ago in Alvor, but the reception was in Carvoeiro at a villa we hired. The villa was septacular and we had outside caterers who supplied a first class meal. Nothing was too much trouble for them If you want any further details please send me a private message.

Pickwick - I'm thinking about 4pm to sit down for the meal ( there are quite a few young children including my own so later wouldn't work with them) . If it was outside I would have umbrellas or some sort of canopy for shade over the tables. The evening will then involve a live band.

How about this??

Wedding reception in Restaurante Rei das Praias, private party on their beach in the evening with live music by Kalulu Beto and disco (Carvoeiro based and guaranteed to get everyone dancing and singing) then stay the night in Casa Rei das Praias their boutique hotel or their private villa. Stay in the room with the window in the ceiling with the window to the stars with the remote control blind if you stay in the hotel.

If you speak to the owner Luis and I am sure he will convince you there is nowhere better for the time of your life and a day to remember forever.

.....ditto, except September 2011.....spectacular place for weddding and restaurant has great views....her's was at 3.30 and it was hot then, you will have a problem outside in July!

Incidentally, flowers were by a firm in Messines, very good.

Friends of ours had their wedding at Vale d'Oliveiras last year. The gardens were beautiful and they said the management and staff were fantastic
