Stayed there once when our apartment was being decorated...I really liked the hotel, great location. We often saunter up there for a morning coffee ...love it, friendly staff

it's the quality hotel of the area to be fair,

the rooms are all nicely kitted out but you want one with a sea view to get the full enjoyment

& it's a short walk to town for the evening

worth the bit extra in my book 8)

Have not stayed there for a few years but the breakfast was always excellent and good views to the sea from south facing rooms, which were a good size with balconies. Hope it has not changed!

Yip, stayed there, no complaints. Youngest son (probably 11 yrs old at the time) loved going down for breakfast and getting freshy made waffles!

I like the Tivoli. Some of the decor is perhaps slightly faded, and some of the bathroom fittings have seen long service, but they are of decent quality, and everything works and is well-maintained. The position is great (get a room with a sea view), it has good facilities, and the staff are very nice.

Considering that you can get a room with breakfast for the price of a crummy B&B in the UK, I think it represents excellent value, and I'd happily go back there any time.

Certainly endorse all that's been said : the views from the bar for a morning coffee/evening drink are superb....and this time of year you can eat on the restaurant verandah. We haven't stayed there for some years, but our daughter married there a couple of years ago & we often call in for a coffee/sundowner. Great place to do some cliff walking too.

Good choice with the Tivoli, but I am afraid Dirty Nellys has been closed for some time now. Don't know whether there are plans to reopen but a couple of weeks ago it still looked abandoned so doubt it for this season.

I like the Tivoli. Not perfect, but lots of very positive features, great location and staff. Have you looked at Tripadvisor?
