Reel for pool cover

Post by Sheila »

I'm trying to find a reasonably priced reel for a pool cover locally. Anyone any ideas. I already have the cover.
Leroy Merlin have one on their web site at 189€ but they don't have any in stock.

Jacob in Lagoa sells reasonable rollers that are genuinely child's play to use:

And in case you're interested, it cost €477 including IVA and I put it together myself (in 15 mins)

Does the euro 477 include the cover or just the reel?

The €477 was just for the roller and will work for pool widths from 6m to about 12m or probably quite a bit more - its easily extendable and I have not extended it fully.
Just go into Jacob and talk to them. there are a range of rollers of different quality and thus "robustness". This one was in the middle to lower range.

Help!!!! Im looking for a new pool cover roller bracket - a horseshoe shaped piece of plastic about 4 inches high that supports the roller on a manual pool cover roller.
The jokers in Lagoa have just quoted me €125 for this tiny bit of plastic, anyone have one lying around from an old cover that they want to sell me or know of source that is sensibly priced??

Many thanks… Landcapeman
