Hiya PW.
MANY THANKS.
When hubby is home later this evening I shall get him to read it all and perhaps he may well contact you.
Me being a mere female with only one brain cell working can quite honestly say ' me no understand'.
We shall be keeping our house in the UK, its landline, wifi connection, sky box and stuff etc, no idea if that helps or not.
xx

Hi
No issue with the UK stuff. Your Portugal set up will be 100% independant of the UK arrangements. If hubby has any questions he can e-mail me direct - I will PM you my e-mail.

The 18€ is paid to Projectiondreams for the internet access to live and catch UK TV. The total cost depends on which Internet package you go for.

Not that anyones does of course ?. Once you have your dish erected you would be able to conect your UK sky box in Portugal and receive whatever Sky package you have , excluding BBC/ITCV etc although some HD channels are still available.baggysallyjane wrote:Hiya PW.

There are talks of possible future changes to Sky but nothing definite.
The important thing before you discuss any IPTV set up is to establish the quality of the internet supplied where vere you end up.
Is fibre optic available, or cable, this would be the first step.

There are talks of possible future changes to the world's climate, life on Mars, Elvis making a comeback & the Beatles performing at the O2 in 2015 !EMM wrote:Not that anyones does of course ? There are talks of possible future changes to Sky but nothing definite..baggysallyjane wrote:Hiya PW.

Are you being a tease or do you have a valid contribution to make?

Guests then.widge wrote:"Punters" at Casa Tranquila ?????? Surely not LICY, Time to change your marketing campaign & attract a more refined clientele or the iPad will be in a clients suitcase before Easter !LICY wrote:We too had help from Pickwick and are already fortunate enough to have good broadband speed. Just need to purchase the apple box and let the punters use our old ipad. This means finally i persuade hubby to let me upgrade.
Re: PRACTICAL solutions to loss of TV Reception
Baggysallyjane As you are keeping a Sky box in the UK get your husband to look into the idea of a slingbox. With this I believe that you can access the Sky signals on your box over the internet from here and can also operate your box remotely.

Re: PRACTICAL solutions to loss of TV Reception
Has there been any change to the content of notice-boards outside the bars that have traditionally shown live UK football through Sky or have they disappeared?
