A Gale
A Gale
Saltimbocca (Italian: jumps in the mouth) is a dish (popular in southern Switzerland, Italy, Spain and Greece) made of veal lined or topped with prosciutto and sage; marinated in wine, oil or saltwater.
But at A Gale it comes covered in cheese sauce, not unpleasant but not Saltimbocca. For those who dislike cheese (Bruce W) you have been warned.

Re: A Gale
I think that there are certain dishes found in many restaurants that have little do do with Portuguese cuisine.
One is a fillet of fish with fruit, bananas or peaches.
I think it is a local adaptation of a classic french sole dish.
