I had the Pizza dela Casa & my wife had a mixed salad with prawns. The salad was as expected and nicely presented the pizza, which I've had numerous times before, was strangely different.

So I asked the waiter if the chef had changed and he confirmed he hadn't but I suspect the pizza ingredients have. I'm not sure if it's the cheese or if it's the ham but it tasted different and the centre of the pizza was distinctly soggy. Not bad enough to raise a complaint but not as good as the last time I was there. Still good value & the staff are friendly and efficient, so I will be going back again soon in the hope that the normal excellent pizza will be restored.

Thanks Widge. I'm out in a couple of weeks time so I'll probably give it a go.

Used this restaurant many times over the years, but must say we have been twice this year and found the food back to its old good standard, (we gave it a miss for about 18 months ) In fact last night I think our meal was the best we have had there.
1 large beer, 1 small beer, 1 Calzone, 1 lasagna and a bottle of red Borba wine. Bill 31.25€

Went here for the first time last night as it is near our villa. I had the antipasto starter which was delicious and you get a lovely plateful of mixed meats, olives, vegetables and sun dried tomatoes. Then I had what can only be described as a bucket of spag Bol and it was delicious. Very impressed with the quality of food and the portions are huge for the cost. Will definitely become a family regular!
