Restaurants in Vilamoura

Post by Bluemoon230989 »

Hi,
Coming over for my usual week in May but wondering if anyone can help with this?
The week before I come to CVO I'm in Vilamoura on business for a couple of days and wondered if anyone can recommend a couple of decent restaurants in the town as I've not visited there before.
No particular preference with regard to the type of cuisine.
Thanks in anticipation,
Dave

Plenty to choose from surrounding the Marina,
My favourite is Ostra d'Oura on the side street leading down to the Marina.

In my experience, restaurants in Vilamoura tend to be overpriced and focus primarily on the tourist trade. My recommendation would be go down the road to Quarteira where the restaurants cater more for local residents and are therefore cheaper and better value. Try Bem Bom for a Brazilian Rodizio or A Caravela.
