Air Conditioning service needed
Hello, this is my first post on here.
We need to get the air conditioning units serviced at the apartment, can anyone recommend a company/engineer?

Re: Air Conditioning service needed
There is a company (name escapes me) next to L'Orange restaurant that does all of this.

Re: Air Conditioning service needed
does anybody know the prices of servicing&re-gassing air con units ?
Re: Air Conditioning service needed
Do it yourself, all you need to do is clean the filters and give the unit a hoover, that's all they'll do, just read your user guide, even I can do it.

Re: Air Conditioning service needed
Not all models warm, even if they have the indicators on the unit and remote. Check the actual model number to see.alf1956 wrote:thankspato i will give that a try when im over on feb 12th.i have one unit that dosent get warm though (i have the units that heat&cool)so i dont know if it is low on gas.

Re: Air Conditioning service needed
Hi Pato,
Its not just a matter of cleaning and vacing the filters and evaportor.
1.Remove the Filters
2.Unclip the louvers
3. Unclips the slated fins
4.Vacuum the evaportor coil and machine
5.The evaportor coils to be sprayed with coil cleaner and bacteria remover, this should be sprayed on quite heavy.
6.A acid drain cleaner needs to be applied to the drain pan (250ml) and left for 10 mins and then flushed with clean water.
7.Spary the coil fan with plastic fan cleaner and wipe dry
8. Wash fiters and dry, refit filters and all other fittings.
9.Go to the outdoor compressor, connect up your manifold gauges to check working pressures.
10.Run machine on cooling for 15 mins
11. Your disharge pressure should be between 7-9 bar, this is for R410a refrigerant and you will have to check a comparter chart for different refrigerant.
12. Run the system on heat for 15 mins and the pressure should run on 31-35 bar.
13. if pressures are low refrigerant needs to be weighed in.
This 90% of the serice done
