RASCALS
Re: RASCALS
Glad to hear from Rascals that they will be reverting to a non smoking bar. With or without ventilation there is no way we would eat in a bar that allowed smoking or out of choice drink in one that was " fuggy ". As others say we have a choice unlike the " old " days.

Re: RASCALS
We now need a law for smokers outside to only be able to use downwind tables. Perhaps tables could be put on a big turntable attached to a wind vane.
Re: RASCALS
We just cough a lot, make loud comments about other spoiling our food with their smoke , getting your friends small children to make even more noise and comment also works a treat.
Seriously there should be bars etc serving food that allow smoking and the rest that do not, We do not know anyone who would chose a "smoker " however good the food or low the prices.

Re: RASCALS
Really excellent Sunday lunch at Rascals today.
Well cooked roast beef, excellent "roasties", and a chocolate fondant dessert to die for.
At that price and quality, it isnt worth putting Mrs Wallis in the kitchen

STOP PRESS.......
The Yorkshires, and the chocolate fondants were superb today.
This must be the best location in Carvoeiro for a Sunday lunch.
Great food, and a fabulous view!!

Re: RASCALS
No....we rotate it with the roast suckling pig up by the Silves barragems!!
But you are right.....it lets Julia, (and occasionally me), off the hook!!

Now I know you cook a Sunday roast occasionally , book me in for April!Bruce Wallis wrote:No....we rotate it with the roast suckling pig up by the Silves barragems!!![]()

Suckling pig will be perfect but failing that a Baron of beef will suffice.
