Weather and car rentals
Weather and car rentals
Hi everybody,we are coming for a 10 day stay 31st Oct.
Has anyone got any idea as to what the early November weather should be like ?Also, I have been told that Atlaschoice car rentals at Faro Airport are very good value, any comments ?

Rain? What rain?
The forecast rain did not arrive today and we have been on the beach since 10am this mroning in lovely sunshine.
Tomorrow not looking as good, but hey - we've been lucky so far!

Talk in the town is about getting the raincoats looked out for tomorow. Ah well, just find a pub with plenty of sport on TV.

Re: Weather and car rentals
Rain overnight, but sunny now. Temperature 21 at present and sunny, but rain forecast overnight, but it is nearly November, so we have been very lucky that summer has lasted so long.
This weather forecast not as bad as shown on home page http://www.windguru.cz/int/index.php?sc=48971

I've used them a lot and never any problems. Had a car die on me but they sorted that quickly. No tolls yet.tomtom wrote:I am very willing to support the website and use Algarvedriver, can you recommend them ?

Re: Weather and car rentals
Thanks for the advice,I will be using Algarve driver.
We are on a bit of a budjet, can you recommend any good restraunts selling decent food at sensible prices.
We found "Tia Lada" and "Casa Algarvia" a little expensive last time.

Re: Weather and car rentals
I and family have used Algarvedriver several times. So far no probelms. They operate a 'booking points' system. After several bokings you can be eligible for a free weeks hire in the low season. Useful if frequent visitor. Even during previous years car hire shortage, managed to get a car albeit sen better days!! But then got us from A to B and beyond.
Food? We like 'A Fonte', up the steps beside Irish Times on the In Road. Used by locals and seen ou taxi driver in their several times.
Enjoy your visit. Hope weather improves, bit of a storm last night, patio chairs went for a walk across the garden!!
