Yippee - 2011 all booked!!!

Post by Lamby »

I would imagine nobody really cares, but I want to shout it from the rooftops. Having visited for the first time at Easter this year and fallen in love with CVO I have booked to return in June 2011. Villa Granuaile booked (thanks girls) and flights just booked. We enjoyed really good weather at Easter but are hoping it might be even better going later next in 2011. Something to look forward to albeit TEN MONTHS of excitement!!! :D :D :P

Looks nice. How far outa the village is it ? Is it within reasonable walking distance ?

Me and my partner are staying at our friends 4 bed villa but it's prolly far too big for two of us but the peace and quiet along with the standard of the fixtures and fittings make it hard to beat. Next year it'll most likely have to be a smaller place for us.

Lamby,

I am going back to Carvoeiro for what must be the 25th time in 3 weeks and can't wait. We usually stay up at Rocha Brava but the apartment we usually rent was booked up so we are staying in the Mirachoro Praia hotel - so that will be totally different for us - hope it will be alright!

If i remember from your previous posts you are from Sale? like us and a Big Red's fan like us and you are now a Carvoeiro fan like us - such good taste!

Counting down the days now.

This is the first year in 4 we are not visiting CVO, due to impending new arrival.
We had our holiday in June in spain, but the forums we used were not even half as good as this one.
Despite my differences of opinions with others on this forum (tends to have been about CVO restaurants), this is by far the most informative forum I have used. I am just sorry we are not visiting this year. :(
Have a good one.

Hi Goatte. Granuaile is in Areias Dos Moinhos. There arew two options (roads) to walk into town, either taking about twenty minutes. Like you we have stayed in bigger villas and there is only three of us. Granuaile is a perfect two bedroom villa with larger than average outside space.

Hi Jule & John. Yes, I am from Sale, a Manchester United fan and a lover of CVO. Like you say, a fine combination. To all cynics, Old Trafford is ten minutes away from where I live and I have supported them since 1974.
