Casa Limoa

Post by debbiew »

Hi,

Has anyone ever stayed at Casa Limoa. What did you think, I am looking at booking it for next year. Have stayed in Areias dos Moinhos before but this year there will only be 2 adults and 1 child and we can't afford a villa to ourselves.

Or any other suggestions???

We have stayed at Casa Limao once or twice a year for the last 7/8 years. It's a great place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone. The owners are really friendly and cannot do enough for their visitors. There are 3 apartments (1 bed, 1 bed + 2 bunks and a 2 bed), all well equipped and each has its own patio area and BBQ. There is a beautifully landscaped pool area which serves all 3 apartments, so you can chat to other people staying there or be independent in your own patio area.

Very convenient for the town but at the same time far enough away to be disturbed by noise from the restaurants and bars - not that there is too much noise anyway. Owners are very pleasant people and in fact are bar owners themselves... . . . .

I agree with streamline, we have stayed there once or twice a year over the last 6 years and have always been made very welcome. The facilities are clean, very private and very beautiful. The owners are always available and apart from the band at the Mexican restaurant, we have experienced very little noise at night apart from the more rural sounds of dogs & cockerels! Recommended.

Last turning to the right on the out road (past the new apartments on the right). Go up the hill and turn first sharp left . Casa Limoa is behind the big green gates.
