There was an article in The Resident some weeks ago that suggested a store was planned for Portimao by the end of this year (2010)

I have a bit of 'inside' info.
Apparently IKEA are planning a store near Loule and another in Spain.
Planning permission is likely to be granted at the end of this year, so probably no
building will start till Mid 2011
