help need to hire a car

I am having great difficulty in hiring a car from the 23rd of july untill the 7th of august it seems there are no cars available including Algarve driver need to know somewhere that has got a small family saloon for certain not maybe thanks

We were warned of this by our supplier 4 weeks ago and confirmed last week by one of our friends who tried to find a car for guests.

The reason is that the car hire companies reduced their orders for cars last year in anticipation of a very bad summer this year.

it has not turned out to be that bad and with extended delivery on new cars a shortage has resulted which will last for most of the summer. So don,t expect to see many special offers either.

Try http://www.travelrent.pt they are based in Montenegro near the airport, but have a base at Faro, ask for Patricia, Carolina or Mario. If you want full CDW with no excess you need to state on booking. Good Luck

Have you tried http://www.carjet.co.uk. We have used them a few times in Spain and found their service good. Not used them at Faro yet as we usually use economycarhire there.

We have friends travelling out 24Th July till 7Th august and they are also struggling getting a hire car we have tried all the links does anyone know anywhere else we can try please

we have friends staying in carvoeiro they are saying they have booked one and have paid a deposit to cordialcar 00351282457250 at this late stage i would only phone forget internet as from my experience they come back the next day to say they have not got one.
