Just started 'Child of the Phoenix' by Barbara Erskine ..recommended by N.Parker above!! :) Quite a new author for me..tho I enjoyed her 'Lady of Hay'....
N.P..like me..enjoys medieval English stories...let me know how you get on with 'Katherine' Su....believe youre starting it tomorrow?
'very funny Irish writer..'Mr Hamilton' Sam? Think Ill have to take a look at 'Headbanger' .... :)
p.s. I found 'Possession' by Byatt a bit of a struggle too Su! :)

That Da Vinci Code was a bit light wasn't it? My wife has now bought me his follow up "Angels and something" so I will be Dan Brown Bread by the end of that.

An amazing book about how the chinese discovered just about every part of the world and then retreated back to china and closed the doors. The author has some pretty good evidence that this happened. the book is called 1421.

Accidental Empires: How the Boys of Silicon Valley Make Their Millions, Battle Foreign Competition and Still Can't Get a Date

I reckon the title is self explanatory. It's pretty good reading for a "wannabe techie" like me :P
