Silves prison walk; 14th October 2024.

Wendy will lead a walk on Monday 14th October
2024.
Directions-
Meet opposite Silves prison, walk starts at 10am. Park on rough ground. Drive to Silves. Over bridge turn left..Go past the market, Lidl and Continente after the motor home park take the first exit right, Prison is about 200mts down.
Walk approx 2 hrs gradual uphill then undulating paths through countryside and return along a lavada
Return to Silves carpark. Optional lunch wil be chicken piri piri at Churrasqueira Valdemar, Silves.(Chicken in the gutter)
Bring suitable walking boots or trainers and a drink. Also bring waterproofs if wet, and a pole if you use one.
Walk is at your own risk. No charge.
