Linda and Russell will be leading this walk. The walk is only 8kms, all on good tracks with no water crossings and hopefully no brambles. We will head out into a new valley with lakes and deserted ruins. There are no water crossings and hopefully no brambles.

Degree of Difficulty : It is a grade 3.5 due to the number of ups and downs. It is one of those walks where you feel there are more ups than downs. The usual rules apply, walk at your own risk, bring water and a pole if you use one, no charge, plus the new social distancing rules.

Meeting Point: Restaurant Ourique. Start time: 9:30am. The cafe may not be open this early.

Directions: Drive along the N125 to the the Portimao/Monchique exit and follow the N124 directions Monchique/Silves. At the roundabouts keep right and follow the signs for Silves. The restaurant is on the right side of the road on a sharp bend before Odelouca. Please park just before the restaurant.

Alternatively, drive to Silves, over the bridge, turn left and drive on the N124 for 10km, the restaurant will be on your left.
