Flamingos

Post by Sueredgie »

Dined at flamingos last night. What a credit to victor (owner), whom previously worked at Donatos, ses marias. Setting was tranquil, romantic and peaceful, all set around a pool. Food was amazing, great selection. Well done victor. Will most definately be returning xx

Its up a little side road off restaurant hill to the right of Bradys bar and thus just behind it.
This is what used to be called Flamingos, then became Cattlemans under two sets of (failed) management and sounds like the latest management have reverted the name ?

Have they refurbished what was once a beautiful setting, but was really going downhill under last sets of management ?

Yes its up little rd just after bradys bar. It was just so relaxing, nothing is ever too much trouble for victor. He has painted it and made it look so nice. I hope this fabulous restaurant will soon be busy for victor.

Sounds good. The food at Donatas was always good and loved the blackened seabass

Yes victor lives in monchique. Large menu, fish, steaks, chicken kebabs, kiddies menu, all very reasonable prices. He is organising his website this weekend.

Fab location including a pool.
Can u use the pool??
This place should do well, however in its many guises it has not done as well as it could.
I believe tis something to do with the owner rather than those who rent it and get it going.
I remember it as a pretty good steak house and previously excellent fish place.

I always said if I had enough money to purchase the whole caboodle, and run it as a B & B, with the poolside as a bar area and weekends do a carvery and some afternoons as a english tea garden. The whole place is very picturesque
