Looking for good value and Food. Where do we go?

Can anyone recommend good value restaurants in and around the village.
Have been before but not for a couple of years. I will be there with children aged 6 upwards and looking for good value, atmosphere, good food and not too long to wait!
Also what nights is the entertainment in the square on this year?

Algarve 2000 is great for familes, they are on the track from Rocha Brava towards Centiannes, excellent menu for all, superb freshly made pizzas, good selection on the menu and kids meals like burgers and hot dogs if they like that sort of thing, good value with the added bonus of a great games room at the back, indoor and outdoor seating. In the village Mistral, Oasis and Irish Times are all good value too.

Hi Helen, I always thought Algarve 2000 was a curry house. Has it changed since last summer?

Hi, no George has always had a wide range on his menu, his pizzas are fantastic, lovely bases and plenty toppings to choose from, i do believe he does nice curries but i´ve never tried one. Definatly worth a visit, great for kids.

Dont ignore Phoenix nights ( monte carvoerio ) good value meals incl daily specials, regular entertainment and happy hours.
More pub type grub than local cuisine but very family friendly.
