Re: Family Friendly restaurant
Hi Susanne,
Most of the restaurants are very child-friendly but it really depends on your taste I suppose.
Mamma Mia's at Monte Carvoeiro is very good - pizzas, pastas, ice cream etc plus a large area of grass for the kids to run around on.
Others around the town will entertain - Happys (if you can get in), Maximes, Taste etc - all of them really will do their best to give your daughter a special time.

I suppose it depends on where you are staying but in all our years of going to cvo we have never been in a retaurant or cafe that isn't child friendly

I'd suggest Ma Ja's. I'm sure if you were to contact Mark and Jan beforehand, they'll sort out something special for you. But as the others have said, all Portuguese restaurants are child friendly.

If you were talking more about a birthday party for her then as she is only 8 the pastlelaria on the out road has indoor tables and a range of cakes that might be more suitable for an 8 year old's party.
If you are just talking about taking her out in the evening then as others have said nearly all restaurants are child friendly and will also let you take in and serve a birthday cake.

If you go to Julio's opposite Centiannes beach they have a lovely restaurant & a nice children's playground with swings etc for when the children want to jump down from the table, we've had lots of family celebrations there & would highly recommend it
