Good Veggie Restaurant?

Any suggestions for a restaurant that has a good veggie range in town ?

I dont think the word "vegetarian" features in the Portuguese language

My sons lovely girlfriend, who is one of these strange, un-natural people, fortunately eats fish, otherwise I think she would struggle on restaurant hill!!

Well, yes, veggie was difficult in 1997, but today, good to excellent veggie fare can be found at this very short list of restaurants:

L'Orange, Ele & Ela, O Salmao, Taste, O Alambique, Chrissy's, Bon Bon, Barnhards, Happys, Bella Vita, Maximes, Villa Medici, Casa Velha do Pescador, Elliotts, A Galé, Casa algarvia, Chef Antonio, O Castello, Ma Ja's

And there's probably quite a few more (including, of course, all the Chinese, Indian etc.).

The Salad Centre, Boscombe, Bournemouth - not much use if your in CVO though
