Went to Ele and Ela last week, we have been lots before.
It was quite nice but the menu needs revamping, not as good as our new favourite The Atlantic club.
Ate here the other night the food & service were very good but it was very cramped, they had put 5 people on tables for 4 so one person had to sit at the end, this was on several tables. We were at a table for 2 but on either side of us we had the back of a person sitting at the end of adjacent tables, their backs were nearly up against our table, not the best dining experience. For a restaurant of this calibre I thought it very bad.
There is a very nice restaurant up in the hills, food great.
the owner is a very large lady with a beard and a gamy leg but her wig looks great.
Will you be going Bruce?

I didn't know that you had bought a restaurant Tricky....
We tried this last week, mainly as a result of all the rave reviews. Excellent food and service. Rather more expensive than most of the CVO restaurants but reasonable value overall.
This was definatly my favourite restaurant we went to in Carvoeiro. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. I didn't think the prices were bad either. Maybe a few euros more than elsewhere but wel worth the money.
