Hi there,
Having recently purchased a small property near Carvoeiro, we now need to furnish it. Could anyone please recommend any reasonably priced furniture stores near Carvoeiro? Ideally we would really need a store with the furniture in stock to be delivered while we are out there.
Also can anyone recommend the best way to organise a maid and/or keyholder to meet and greet guests?

There is an excellent shop on the outskirts of Portimao. movies maleiros.
Take the portimao exit from the motorway head into Portimao look for signs on your right.
its a real aladins cave they have a good stock, deliver,and erect if necessary FOC.
At Guia, there is Conforama, At the Portima shopping centre ( on N125 ) Movifloor.
On the outskirts of Albufeira ( N295 ) Val Paraiso there is a huge furniture shop.
In lagoa. sofa Vip plus a few others.
Have fun, we did.

Hi, Congratulations on your new house! We have had a house here for quite a number of years now and moved here permanently last year. We have mainly used SOFA VIPA in Lagoa (Suite, Bed, Dining Furniture), Conforama - Bed and Mattress, Movieflor - shelving, desk etc. all very good but we have built up a good relationship with SOFA VIP now and they are always very helpful. Have a good time shopping!
