If the pixilation is on all or most channels you need to check your dish and LNB.Over the years it has been necessary to upgrade to more sensitive LNBs to maximise reception out here. Also you need a good size dish. We have a prime focus dish of I think 1.4 metres and we get excellent reception on all Sky subscription channels except ITV 3 and ITV4.

If the pixilation is on ITV I suggest that you tune in the other ITV regions on "other channels" and see whether you can find a stronger signal. As I said West Yorkshire is good. If you google the subject you will find the necessary transponder settings to capture the other ITV regions.

If anyone is interested recieving of sky is not ilegal, there is an EC Directive that all providers of satelite tv in euro zone have to transmit though out the euro zone. sky is in breach of this directive and they have been warned by the EC. so dont stress about it. anyway they are to expensive, go for a package like DigiAB from albainia majority of the programs are in english and they have a sports package with it, it is half the price. min dish size is 1m and you can use any reciver that acommidates conex cam if you get technomate 5000 series, or by the system from DigiAB, good luck

I believe that is DigitALB. The following info comes from Wikipedia:

Due to a variety of content being offered in original languages (mostly English) DigitAlb has become popular with foreigners as well as Albanians. Unlike many national packages which have royalty restrictions in their respective countries, DigitALB has broadcasting rights throughout Europe. This has made DigitAlb become one of the most popular TV packages in Europe for foreigners, particularly English speakers residing in the EU.

However, popularity with some foreigners has waned due to the unavailability of a program guide for DigitAlb in English or any language other than Albanian. Currently, the official website http://www.digitalb.al provides a program guide in Albanian only. There is a website where customers can get the listings for the "DigiFilm" channels and the live "SuperSport" events, that website is called telekomanda.net

I took an old Sky box without card and plugged it in to the satellite, in place of a 'freeview' box. Worked first time, lots of channels... No problemo! How does that work?
ps Went back to Caramujeira 2 weeks ago, and no satelitte signal being received on either Sky or 'freeview'... Hmm!
