Is there a Dutch lady called Trous who looks after properties? She was very good but I don't have her details. We vsited some time ago and she was responsibl for the villa we stayed in. Very thorough.

Thank you BM

Is this lady operating in the Aljezur/Bordeira area?

Well she certainly operates around Val de Milho, and I agree with BM, she is extremely thorough. I have her telephone number

Although I agree with the comments about Trous' work, I seriously doubt any local villa manager will be able to provide service to houses in Aljezur - it just too far away.

Have you had a look through the Páginas Amarelas or a local buisness directory?

Hello G
Yes locally is mostly "word of mouth".
I will try asking around in the real estate agencies.
Yellow pages did not help.
May be using the local newspaper.
Thank you.

Hi Paramonte

Just a thought...try the Piranha Bar at VDT near the new shops at lunchtime. I have seen garden maintenance vans...swimmingpool management vans parked outside. THink this is where a lot of the "locals" lunch. Another place is the cafe next to the Vale da Telha hotel.

Did you try Gary..who advertised on the Portugal forum?

There is also a VDT residents association apparently...if you find the details on that one would be grateful as the lady who "knew" the contact has disapeared

Good Luck
