Just wondering

I was just thinking of carrying a small flat screen TV in my hand luggage, has any of you done that before, will airport security allow it??

Can't see it's any different to taking a laptop but check on the airline website.

We have done it, providing it fits and does not exceed your wt allowance ( if flying Ryan air ) the should be ok.

EMM, did you have to take it out for security inspection, my plan is to take it out of its box, wrap it and put it in a soft bag, within airline size allowance of course, I fly Easyjet.

We did NOT have it in its original packaging but well wrapped within our hand luggage.
We did have to put into a seperate bin at security.
