Water parks in August

Can anyone tell me how busy Slide and Slash is in august ie do you spend most of your time queueing for the rides?

Thanks Liz one to avoid then. We went in May and it was great as you could just walk straight onto the rides

Aqualand along the road towards Faro wasn't very busy last August (and we went at the second half of August) and it's bigger than slide and splash. You can get round waiting for some of the rides by renting a rubber ring for about 4 euros. I usually go once a year and we have a geat day out.

August is usually a nightmare, the Portuguese, the Spanish & the French are on holiday & the queues are generally very long.

Don't think there's going to be many queues this year judging by the amount of people here at the moment

We always have a day out at Slide and Splash when we visit in August. Yes it is busy but our 3 children have never found it an issue and it's always on the wish list of things to do. They can't wait to go this year.

My son went to Slide & Splash last week with a friend & on the best rides/shoots they were waiting for up to 10-15 minutes which he said was ok, except there was no shade whilst queueing & his friend got burnt, so remember lots & lots of sun cream. 8)
