Hold on to the sides of your beds tomorrow morning as at 0800 the firecrackers will start off the celebrations of 25th April (Day of the Revolution)

Further fun and games are planned all day in and around the sqwaure including street running races at 10,30 -ish.

Get your tea and toast made early on Sunday 27th as planned maintenance power cuts in Carvoeiro area wil take place between 0830 and 1330.

Hi Biffa, thanks for the warning. I don't suppose you have any influence with the EDP, as they obviously have not been told about the Rangers v Celtic league decider kicking off at 12.30pm.

Guess you're not a Celtic fan! Did you see them dispose (just) of a pathetic Boavista last night?

Power cuts shouldn't worry you as they are more for outlying Carvoeiro than the centre - places like Vale da Lapa, Vale d'el Rei, Carvoeiro Clube, Mato Serrao, Salicos, Poço Partido.
