Sex and Soap!

Post by Blondelle »

Just put this on ----- to get away from all that talk of pencils, local drivers and roads!
Of course what Im referring to is TV episodes -- what else ?
Anyway, its back to the novel;its going very well thanks to help from certain folk on this forum and a few more characters are being "written in".
I must keep busy--idle hands make work for the devil --how do you work these emoticans please? Ive never used one once--what do i do?
Boa Noite Ellie.

Good evening Cowboy Coop--thanks for the very clear instructions, but as you will see on "death of local drivers " Im still not getting it right--mind you I was never good at following instructions --you'll have to draw me a picture ( oh lord its back to pencils)--- Ill try once more at end of this--glad youre not locked in barn anymore --- whats the answer to Sad Sam and his reference to "something in the water"? A little Jack Daniels goes with it nicely, Oui ?
Sweet dreams and dormez bien--Ellie
P.S. Just thought-- was Gambrinus calling my lovely Julio Iglesias an old man --- darling thats sacrilige(cant spell that)-- Julio has me in ecstacy on the couch every time he sings--Gambrinus,you cant mean it --he sings like an angel (with devlish overtones)!

Well Guest darling,
I am nearly "driven" to say yes as I write love stories--but "you" can ask me any question you like on gardening . When I was qualifying I only spent "some" of my time in the potting shed.
Qualifications:
Diplomas for : Conservation work - Organic gardening- Herb gardening - Advanced general gardening - and Royal Horticulural Society Exam.
Im now on a course for Mediterranean horticulture.
Im also a classically trained pianist (Royal College of music Kensington) Would you like to ask me about that ?
Or is it back to "Mills & Boon" for you?
Oh and I know quite a bit of life inAlgarve--is that any help at all? Elle.

I have a question regarding soaps.

Is it possible to view Coronation Street from the village?

We're spending Christmas and New Year in a wonderful villa and Sharen (and me!) will sorely miss the seasonal episodes. Although we shall be setting up the video recorders at home, all it takes is one teeny weeny power cut and the whole timing program dissappears into the inner workings of the machine, never to be seen again :)

wish we knew answer to this one Michael--we were in Monte Carvoeiro last Christmas & New Year for 5 weeks and like you two we miss our soaps ( Corrie & Emerdale !) and although we had satellite we never saw any of these not even old ones and also, like you, we set up video and happy to say all recorded okay. But perhaps you may be luckier - I dont know if anything like Granada plus is available--but this only shows old Corrie &Emerdale. We would like to know as we are due out for September & October. We get quite a few power cuts here in the sticks, so as you say, videoing may not always be successful.
Perhaps someone like Steen or Gambrinus can give us info ?
