Went for some Euros this morning , stocking up for,our next visit . €1.06 to the pound , just wondering when we all think it will go 1 for 1 . I will buy a beer for the person who guesses the closest date . I will go with 15th Feb 2018 .

It all depends on WHERE you exchange and in which direction (and to some extent how much).

I'll bet for example that you'll get less than €1.00 (or pretty darn close) for your £ at the airport today

Is the 1.1378 the interbank rate or the tourist rate at the banks & exchange shops?
