Just an update on what we know is a scurge of just about anywhere nowadays.....Drugs / Weed call it what you will be offerred on the Streets in CVO.Just come back from two very relaxing weeks at our place on the west side of town !
I have two fairly street wise kids aged 22 and 19 and was not too surprised given previous postings on the Forum that there were offerred from a passing car in the square in broad daylight ' drugs' .
However one evening my daughter and her boyfriend were offered some by their taxi driver from the Rank in the square . I would like to think that even in Carvoeiro you can trust the Taxi drivers but am not quite so sure now if they are mixing this activity with their captive audience 'locked' in the back of their Cab. Should we all be concerned or is this just the norm nowadays ?
Thanks

I'm sure the GNR would be very interested in "his" activities, strict regulations regarding licensed taxis etc. Business must be bad if they are resorting to that line of getting a few Euros.

The way to stop this is for anyone else who has this experience is to note the number of the taxi ( number and location is shown on the vehicle) and report them.

Apart from making a note of the driver's name & number try recording the conversation on a smart phone and then hand it over to the GNR.

They can have as much weed as they like out of my garden.
