Does anyone know if you can get the supermarket discount/loyalty cards for Minipreco/Continente etc if you are a uk resident?
I always feel I am missing out on some of the offers!

Yes. We have had a Continente (ex Modelo) card for some years now. Just ask at the store reception desk. I think we obtained ours at an in store promotion. Some good savings can be made.

We have had a continente card since we first started coming to the Algarve.
We do look for the promotions and the discounts which are added to your card credit and come in handy at Christmas.
We did find that we were not getting the Continene monthly letter with additional discounts until we changed to our PT address.
