Clive Dunn - R.I.P
Clive Dunn - R.I.P
It was with great sorrow that we noted that clive had passed away yesterday.
He was making us laugh up to the end - at the Lagoa Auditorium.
Possibly the last of our generation of comedy actors ?

What a great age he was at 92. He was also a great favourite with family audiences as he was somebody you can trust unlike the horror stories now emerging from the BBC and some of its stars.
When he played Corporal Jones the dithering octogenarian butcher he was in fact one of the relatively younger member of the cast.
RIP

We saw Clive Dunn and Anita Harris a few times shopping in Continente and in Leroy.
One of the good things about the Algarve is that the many TV celebrities and others can go about their business without almost any attention from Brits who live or are on holiday here.

That's because most of them move here because they suffer from dementure!EMM wrote:We saw Clive Dunn and Anita Harris a few times shopping in Continente and in Leroy.

One of his last public appearances was in Lagoa when he sang Grandad at a fund raising event. I suggest the police consider revenge.
