Might be too far out for you but I had a lesson today with Richard Hudson at Vila Sol (Vilamoura) and couldn't recommend him highly enough. I've never played at all so I am a complete beginner and the way he was explaining things made it easy to understand.

Thanks for all the info guys. I went for a leson with the instructor at the Pestana Golf Academy by Vale de Pinta. Carlos - fantastic instructor and really nuce guy. Made it all sound so simple. Got another lesson booked for Friday

I agree Carlos is very good - He started teaching my son when he was seven - 5 years down the line he is now part of the County Squad and has competed internationally (yes, proud dad!)
