Hello all, just joined site although have been reading daily for a few years. My wife and I have just returned from Carvoeiro (8th -15th) and the weather was mostly cloudy ,rainy ,stormy with the one day of really hot sun, last friday. We have been at this time of year twice before in the past and have always had sunny ,hot days with the very rare dull period. I think we will try to get out earlier in the future, maybe early October to possibly get better weather. We still enjoyed the visit though ,staying at the hotel Baia Cristal, a beautiful hotel with great facilities.

Have you checked the forcast for the next few days ? - it says 66 degrees Centegrade - Phew thats hot. Not sure how everyone living in CVO will cope with that sort of heat.

We arrived on the day of the infamous airport tornado and basicaly it was chilly 16-18 and never really stopped raining - every night and morning - until the thunderstorm last saturday - then it was warm and sunny until we left thursday - worst weve ever had basically.

We will be back however - cant wait until mid Jan!
