Just thought i would come on the board and say hello, ive been coming on for a few months (just lurking). We are 2 couples coming to Carvoeiro on June 1st, needless to say the men come for the golf and us women the sun, We normally go to Vilamoura but thought we would give somewhere else a try this year, really looking forward to Carvoeiro and meeting the locals.

and Pato will be there, so you might meet him. I hope you have really great weather 'cos I'll be there too.

You will find hopefully a very pleasant difference to Villamora, which to many just seems like any other homogenised European golf resort.

I hope you will agree that Carvoeiro, whilst still a resort, is far more Portuguese than the metropolis up the N125.

Which courses will you be playing.

We are travelling the other way 24th June, going over to Vilamoura to play Pinal,Millenium and Laguna.
Are they good courses.

They're fine courses but not in the same league as San Lorenzo, Quinta do Lago or the Old Course at Vilamoura. Oceanico also own the new Faldo & O'Connor courses which are fantastic.
