We were over at christmas and it rained and stormed. Since coming home I have kept my eye on the weather situation as I am coming back in 4 weeks.It doesn't seem to have let up at all. Has there been a day this year yet that there has been no rain at all?

I was lucky the first week of Feb, Karen Ann. I had three really nice days, on one day the temp reached 20 degrees in the sun.
but you are right it seems to have gone downhill from there. Hope it picks up for our trip in mid march

Everyone took great delight in telling us how nice the weather was just before we arrived

Arriving tomorrow morning - what is the latest weather forecast for next week? Have looked a several different ones and non the same. At least it must be better than dull, cold Mancheter.

Looking forward to see everyone in all our old haunts and of course watching Man Utd pick up more silverware on Sunday afternoon!

Yes, yes, yes...... to the Manchester United bit.....

The weather seems to be going on as it has been, dull, cold and wet, but when the sun comes out it does get up to 16 - 18C...... better than 6C here in Somerset today, and it is pouring with rain... AGAIN

Still overcast and windy here in Carvoeiro.

Every Portuguese I meet bemoans the fact that its the coldest, wettest, worse winter since records began.
Our first winter over here.....and we bring the usual English weather with us!!

Looking on the bright side though.....we're still at least 10 degrees better off than the UK!!

We were also out at Christmas and it rained! Some friends of ours were out last week - and it rained. At least its warmer in CVO. The temperature nearly made it through into double figures today in Maidenhead. We are out in a couple of weeks time. I am sure the rain will have stopped by then. Won't it?

So you are to blame Bruce Wallis, can you do me a favour please and return to England from 10th March so I can enjoy some decent weather when I get back to CVO. Cheers Mate!

We were over on 5th to 12th Feb. 3 days very suuny, 3 days half sun half cloud, 1 day pouring all day, We are not complaining.

Rain, Rain and more Rain! When will it stop. Forecast is for a dry day tomorrow and then guess what? More rain for the weekend!! This has to be the worst winter on record.
