Hi there, booked to come out to cvo the week before Christmas, just a short mon-fri break w/c 15th Dec with the kids. Can anyone please advise on which restaurants will be open?

Coming out very briefly on Thurs night so will let you know what's open early next week. Already been told Ele and Ela are closed as well as Julio's which was number 1 and 2 on the list!.

Bruce is about right, there are enough restaurants open at this time of year for you to find a meal. If you have certain favourites, then they may be closed. A number do seem to have closed earlier this year, and others, such as Ele & Ela, are not opening for Christmas and New Year. Sure, however, you will have a great pre-Chistmas break.

I was there last week and very few restaurants were open. Casa Algarvia, A Gale and Primavera were open and quite busy, O Patio was open too but quiet. I was surprised at how many of the usual restaurants were closed but as usual we still had a good time! Enjoy your trip.

I know we are not on "Restaurant Hill" but we are still open

And lovely food as well , always have a nice meal and reasonably priced , and I dont even work for you ( tee hee )
