Sweet, sweet dog needs a home urgently

Hi all,
this is a shot in the dark. I have picked up an abandoned dog and am looking for a home for her. She was abandoned about 1 1/2 weeks ago on the road heading down to the roundabout from Carvoeiro. I have been watching her during that time. I lost track of her but saw her again yesterday. She is thinner, and her mother who was also abandoned is much, much thinner.
I caught the puppy pretty easily but can´t get near the mother. The pup is about 6 months old, very sweet and part boxer. She is a brindle and will be on the larger size, probably about 22 kgs. If you know of anyone who is interested, please email me at slojan2000atyahoodotcom. or leave a message here.
Thanks is advance.

Please everyone, just spread the word. She is a doll; so eager to please and wants to be with you. I absolutely can´t keep her as I have my original dog plus one rescue already. I think I would be looking at a divorce...
Plus we move around a lot.

Have you had any luck finding a home for this adorable puppy? Is her mother still around? I just hope that there is a happy ending for both of them - some people are just b****** where animals are concerned.
Good luck

John, the mother is down by Ma Maison. I have been taking her some food but she won´t let me near. I can´t imagine the abuse to cause this skittishness. Her pup doesn´t have that skittishness though she is very concerned about not offending. I agree on the some people comment. It breaks my heart.
Still looking for a home. No luck yet...not even from the sanctuaries.

Hope that you can find them a home soon. If you keep feeding 'mum' she may eventually let you near her - poor thing. Whereabouts is Ma Maison? It is just aswell that there are good people in this world who care about animals. We have 3 cats at home - one of those was a stray, sleeping rough and she is a delightful cat now.
I usually end up feeding the cats if there are any in our vicinity when we are on holiday in Carvoeiro- home from home.
