Car rental?
Yes youre right its 186euros (10% off).
Re: Car rental?
Zitauto 160 euros in the height of the season for a renault clio 5 door. You pay a few euros per day to cover the excess for damage. All in all still the lowest on price.barpaul wrote:Just looked at the all inclusive price list and the Ford Focus that we were quoted 167euros for (one week 19th March) is now 204euros! Their prices seem to have gone up somewhat.

Shame Zitautos doesnt have a website, I always avoid phoning people abroad as I dont understand them and they dont understand my Yorkshire accent!
p.s. We had to get a Focus as there are 4 adults and 4 cases. Dont think we'll get past 60 with all that lot in it.

I used Economy Car - http://www.economycarhire.com/
and they used Zitauto. I was very pleased with everything. I found both companies efficient. helpful and well priced.
I shall certainly be using Economy Cars again.

I first saw them on the rhs after leaving Customs and walking thru the terminal towards the exits. The lady there took me to one side (on the left) where we sat down and did the paperwork.Anonymous wrote:Hi Michael, where were Zit autos based at the airport, were they outside to the right along with the rest of them, or did you hand over a voucher in the arrivals hall and then pick the car up from the airport carpark (the big one)
I had prepaid via the web, and, apart from a copy of my Visa card to cover petrol costs (which was later cancelled) I didn't have to pay another penny.
I was then directed to Car-park 4, D/E where a very helpful lad explained all about the car - in the pouring rain!
I found Zit absolutely marvellous and I'll have ne hesitation in using them again.

Budget franchise at faro airport
Has anybody else had problems with cars from Budget at the airport not having the tax sticker on the windscreen? I've had 2 cars from them without the tax sticker and pulled by the police.
Car hire firms answer was "don't worry we will pay the police"

How come you never get the car you think youre getting? This year we expected a focus and got a VW golf (a bit of a squash for 4 adults with luggage). Every year its the same thing. (we booked with all inclusive this time but usually its carjet)
