Supermarket

Post by jennym »

I will be driving from Faro to Colina da Lapa next week - where's the best place to stop on the way to pick up food supplies as no doubt my kids will be hungry the minute we walk in the door!

I would stop off at the Intermarche. I know its not exactly on the way to Colina da Lapa but its not too much of a detour and they have a wide seledtion of produce. We always shop there on the way to our apartment near Sesmarias.

On the main road into Carvoeiro but after the point you would have bared right to go to Colina da Lapa - hence the comments that it isn't exactly 'on the way'.

The diversion is minimal in my view - I am sure you will get a more precise answer from one of the locals.

Its on the road into Carvoeiro from Lagoa. There is a large billboard sign at the roundabout giving directions. The supermarket is on the right-hand side of the road. Large car park to the front. You cant miss it!
