Can anyone tell me the best place to look for any vacancies or is it just a case of knocking on doors??
Thanks in advance

Kitty..have you thought of putting Ad. in one of the papers out there?
I've done this for garden work in the past...and got quite a few interesting responses(this was for live-in work)..
'The News' e-mail is classads@the-news.net
'The Resident' e-mail is www.algarveresident.com and info@algarveresident.com
just a thought

Although I advertised for garden work I did receive other offers of work as well..but as i was looking for 'live-in' it was mostly domesticated like some cooking and odd jobs.
But I've had experience of this in the past which I didn't like and people can 'put on you'...so be careful
wish you luck Kitty
P.S. Just remembered..when i was resident I was offered 'child minding' work (which I didn't take up ) so think thats always wanted!
