Did it all go ok
Are the club good and did you have to pay up front ?

Hiya,
I asked Richard whilst he is watching the footie and I managed to get some sense out of him re golf clubs from Faro Airport.
Yes the clubs are fine, Calloway clubs or Ping normally. Yes you pay up front and yes the service is good.
Tis cheaper than dragging your own out and paying airport costs etc.
Good luck

Re: Golf Club Hire
Does the Golf Shop in town hire clubs and if so, how do their rates/service compare? It would be good to keep the revenue in cvo and save you lugging the clubs across the airport.
The charity shop often has a bag or two of clubs for sale. You might be able to get a bargain, play your golf then take them back for someone else to use.

Ray, hickory shafts are not quite in fashion these days let me tell you, I suppose you'll be trying to sell us gutta-percha golf balls nextlaserblazer wrote:Does the Golf Shop in town hire clubs and if so, how do their rates/service compare? We have used them - Excellent service - You can choose the brands on line from MD - Callaway etc according to price/preference. One time the head of my driver flew off & they offered to send out a replacement by taxi !
Tend to use the service if we are only going out for 10 days or less. For longer we prefer to take our own clubs & put the two sets in light bags in one Club Carrier & therefore only pay for one set on the plane.

Re: Golf Club Hire
Recently I have been using the below Company - they deliver to your accommodation address and pick up from the last course you play. Saves a lot of hassle.
Another tip, if a few of you are travelling and you are all hiring clubs, should you have a favourite club at home, Gap Wedge, Putter or such like, you can pool all your favourites in one bag and share the cost. Anyway the links below, which hopefully you will find useful. Happy Golfing.

I have a set at the Casa, doesn't matter that they're cheapo! I'd be crap with Ping.
