Rain, then more rain!
Re: Rain, then more rain!
Does sunman do a rainman impersonation in inclement weather?
Re: Rain, then more rain!
Just 22 hours now 'till take off and eight days in CVO and STILL the forecast looks dodgy. Why do I punish myself and keep looking?? It will be what it will be. Certainly better than being sat at my desk at work in Salford. So, CVO here I come, good times. Maybe I should meet up with Widge and put the world to right and discuss the weather - there I go again, mentioning the weather!!!

Re: Rain, then more rain!
It's a beautiful sunny day today lamby. Totally at odds to the forcast or rain during the night
Re: Rain, then more rain!
Thanks Tricky - good to hear. It's crazy, others have said how nice it is there today but the forecast says different.

It definitely will be warm rain and it does clear away and give blue sky, so don't despair you can still have a ball
Enjoy yourself I will be there 2 weeks from today lucky me
Re: Rain, then more rain!
Well, it is definitely wet! Just been for an "in car" picnic at Marinha Beach. A meal at A Gale this evening. Determined not to let the weather stop us from having a good time despite the forecast for the week ahead saying more rain and thunderstorms!! Good to see Gary and Gaynor briefly in town on Saturday. (Some sunshine would be nice)
Re: Rain, then more rain!
First day of summer here, 20 degrees & BBQ's on Mother's Day. It's Gordon Brown's fault !
Re: Rain, then more rain!
rain storms of biblical proportions mean the last day's golf went in the bin
but 2 out of 3 ain't bad given the forecast from last week; & it looks like there's more coming.
been nice being here as always though, nice bit of prir piri, lamb, sardine paste etc., keeps the heart & soul good.
& there are some green shoots to report; there's a Bentley & a Lamborghini in town; and more importantly a transport company friend tells me that the past two months have seen a net inflow of goods rather than an outflow for the first time in 5 years, good news!

I teed off at Gramacho at 08:40 yesterday, finished the round at 12:30 and didn't have a spot of rain. Happy days.sunman wrote
