Re: Jubilee Celebrations
Pato, we are here for a good time, not a long time. Why get bogged down with paperwork if you can get away with it. Frank Gallagher in Shameless rings a bell.

Re: Jubilee Celebrations
Hi. I was windering if Jan at Ma-Ja's would PM me the information sent to Smudger as I also posted askeding about the Jubilee celebrations. Thanks
Re: Jubilee Celebrations
The " Smoke House " at Boa Nova resort, on the ferragudo road is also organising a celebration that weekend.
Re: Jubilee Celebrations
Thanks EMM. Ma - Ja's are celebrating this royal occasion. On Sunday 3.6.12 they have a special Sunday Roast menu and on Tuesday 5.6.12 they are offering a "one night" special of 2 main courses for 15 Euros. The restaurant will be festooned and decorated accordingly to enhance the whole occasion.

Re: Jubilee Celebrations
Not in our street! We had a residents meeting and took a vote on whether to hold a Jubilee party; and it was a clear decisive NO and that included solicitors, barristers ,a doctor, and a BBC radio presenter! Hardly revolutionaries!pete-flint wrote:Would anyone "need" a license for a "spontaneous" party !!
If enough people of like mind get together it would turn into a party, wherever they wish to meet !
Re: Jubilee Celebrations
Don't forget it's also the International Algarve Fair that weekend: www.algarvefair.com
Re: Jubilee Celebrations
Sounds as if you've got posh neighbours eh! James, no illegal immigrants? Basically they sound a load of miserable barstewards, how did you vote?James Faro wrote:Not in our street! Re: Jubilee Celebrations
The Algarve Fair at the Fatacil is always worth a visit & I understand there will be Jubilee celebrations along with all the usual many attractions.
Adam from Mucky Mutts will be bathing dogs for charity, so if your mutt is a bit mucky take it along, it can have a shampoo & blow dry & the fee will go to the animal sanctuary.

Mucky Mutts! What a wonderful name for a dog grooming business. Just saw that chap's website. He has an ingenious business idea and I hope it goes from strength to strength.blue wrote:The Algarve Fair at the Fatacil is always worth a visit & I understand there will be Jubilee celebrations along with all the usual many attractions.
