BEST HOLIDAY EVER!!
Well, been home a month now and thought it was about time i raved about our family holiday in Carvoeiro. We stayed at the Villa Fontes/ Casa Fontes and it was out of this world! We couldn't fault the place. The bedrooms were huge, 3 bathrooms, a huge terrace up stairs with magnificant views of the mountains and the sunsets were breathtaking! The pool was massive, cold at times, (we were there in may) the gardens were beautiful and well maintained.
Now for my favourite foods,
Traditional Portuguese Steak was the best food i have ever eaten EVER! the meat was so full of flavour, much much better than British meat! Oh i'm starting to drool and i love the olives and sardine paste they give you to munch on before we got our mains.
Oh i could go on and on!
One thing is certain I WILL RETURN TO CARVOEIRO!!!!

Got back on Saturday after a fanastic week.
1. Found space at Bristol Airport close to the terminal
2. Sleazy Jet took off on time WITH NO DRUNKS OR BABIES
(Note: Full marks to them they have removed the recline buttons)
3. Algarvedriver supplied a Seat people carrier with just 3000K on the clock. If you pay with cash you get a discount.
4. Villa was fine, weather was amazing
5. I have decided that I will never go back to Portomao, it has been ruined. I think Lagos is a lovely town; right size, clean and neat.
6. Boys have demanded a return next year
Thanks CVO

sorry. didn't realise, just an oversight, I am certainly in no way affiliated to the company(I wish). No offence intended. Can I just clarify what is against the rules - is it all advertising? Because non-villa advertising seems to occur quite often?holiday1 wrote:its on villa plus
MODS: edited in line with forum advertising rules
Many thanks

I think it is useful to check in with the home page of this site once in a while - as and when you do, it is absolutely obvious why advertising villas on the forum is not in the spirit of the site.
In order to sustain the site and for it to pay it's way, the site needs advertising, the primary paying advertisers are accommodation providers. How much paid advertising would Steen be able to attract to keep the site running if the forum provides it for free.
I am just as bad I have the Forum bookmarked rather than the Home Page and have to remind myself to check there before asking something on the forum.
